My approach to Hatha yoga focusses on developing body awareness and sensitivity, and adopting an attitude of acceptance to the body as it is. I teach Scaravelli inspired yoga that encourages letting go of tension and being gentle with practice. This approach is challenging and yet suitable for all. There is not a sequence to learn - instead each session follows a theme and guides you through small exploratory movements. You will become more attuned to your body which will lead you to move with greater awareness. Further information can be found on the FAQ page.
I have been teaching regularly since 2001. The predominant influences that inform my yoga are the work of renowned teacher Vanda Scaravelli and the practice of mindfulness meditation, both of which I have practised since the mid-1990s.
